Not a rushed checklist tour.

Real Japan. Deeper connections. Beautiful memories that last a lifetime.

Japan is more beautiful when you experience it together.

THE EXPERIENCE

Come to Japan with me.

Hi, I’m Tammy. I lived in Japan for six years, and this trip is my invitation to experience the country with confidence, guidance, and without having to figure everything out alone.

I’ll be your travel companion throughout the hosted experience — helping with the trains, the rhythm of the days, the places we visit, and those little moments that can make Japan feel personal instead of overwhelming.

We’ll see famous places, yes. But we’ll also make room for the Japan beyond the tourist checklist: local neighborhoods, everyday moments, favorite foods, hidden corners, and the kind of experiences that make you feel like you were really there.

TENTATIVE 12-DAY ITINERARY

Twelve days of Japan — with room to breathe.

The order may change for weather, cherry blossoms, availability, local conditions, and what works best for our group.

Day 1

Arrive in Nagoya

Settle in, get oriented, meet me and the other women, and ease into Japan without rushing.

Day 2

Nagoya Welcome Day

Orientation, sightseeing, shopping, practical Japan tips, and a relaxed welcome together.

Day 3

Nagoya Castle & Spring Gardens

Nagoya Castle, Hommaru Palace, gardens, and cherry blossoms if nature cooperates.

Day 4

Inuyama Castle, the old town, local food, tea, and one of Central Japan’s most charming historic areas.

Day 5

Kyoto

Temples, traditional streets, Gion, and seasonal cherry blossom scenery.

Day 6

Free Day

Rest, wander, shop, recharge, or choose something optional. This trip intentionally includes breathing room.

Day 8

Kimono & Cultural Day

Kimono and photos, plus a shrine or garden and a tea experience.

Day 9

Kyoto or Nara

A flexible day shaped by weather, blossoms, and group preference — shrines, temples, and historic neighborhoods.

Day 11

Flexible Final Day & Farewell

Our last full day leaves room for blossoms, shopping, a favorite place we want to revisit, and a farewell together.

Day 12

Breakfast, Goodbyes & Departure

A gentle final morning before we say goodbye and everyone continues home or on to their next adventure.

ABOUT YOUR HOST

Hi, I’m Tammy W. Jones.

I lived in Nagoya, Japan for six years. MyJapan.life grew out of wanting to show other women the Japan I know and love — with guidance, companionship, and the confidence that comes from traveling with someone who knows how life there actually works.

This isn’t about squeezing the most attractions into the fewest hours. It’s about experiencing Japan in a way that feels human, beautiful, and memorable.

“Let me show you the Japan I know and love — beyond the tourist checklist.”
