I lived in Nagoya for six years, from 2017 to 2023. Japan wasn’t simply somewhere I visited; it became part of my life. This experience is my chance to share the places, people and everyday moments I came to love—and help you feel comfortable moving through Japan without having to figure everything out alone.

What your hosting fee includes
Your MyJapan.life fee is for the hosted experience: planning, coordination, itinerary organization, guidance, and having me with the group during the scheduled experience.

The Spring 2027 experience is not a generic tour assembled from a checklist. It grows out of the Japan I actually lived, the relationships I made and the places that still feel like mine.

Your 12-day itinerary
Twelve days of Japan—with room to breathe. This is our planned day-by-day experience; the order can flex for weather, cherry blossoms, availability, local conditions and what works best for our small group.

Tuesday • March 30
Nagoya Welcome Day
Orientation, sightseeing, shopping, practical Japan tips, and a relaxed welcome together.
Day 3
Wednesday • March 31
Nagoya Castle & Spring Gardens
Nagoya Castle, Hommaru Palace, gardens, and cherry blossoms if nature cooperates.
Day 4
Thursday • April 1
Inuyama & Kimono Day
Kimono and photos woven into our day in Inuyama, with Inuyama Castle, the old town, local food, tea, and one of Central Japan’s most charming historic areas.
Day 5
Friday • April 2
Kyoto
Temples, traditional streets, Gion, and seasonal cherry blossom scenery.
Day 6
Saturday • April 3
Free Day
Rest, wander, shop, recharge, or choose something optional. This trip intentionally includes breathing room.
Day 7
Sunday • April 4
Shirakawa-go
A journey into the mountain village famous for its traditional gassho-style farmhouses and unforgettable scenery.
Day 8
Monday • April 5
Foxes, Flowers & Lights
Toyokawa Inari Shrine and its unforgettable fox statues, followed by an evening at Nabana no Sato for gardens, seasonal flowers, and illumination.
Day 9
Tuesday • April 6
“Tammy’s Japan”
The local places, foods, neighborhoods, shops, and everyday moments I came to love during my six years living in Japan.
Day 10
Wednesday • April 7
Room to Follow the Blossoms
A deliberately flexible day for weather, cherry blossoms, shopping, a place we want more time with, or an unexpected Japan moment worth following.
Day 11
Thursday • April 8
Flexible Final Day & Farewell
Our last full day leaves room for blossoms, shopping, a favorite place we want to revisit, and a farewell together in Nagoya.
Day 12
Friday • April 9
Breakfast, Goodbyes & Departure
A gentle final morning before we say goodbye and everyone continues home or on to their next adventure.
Keep Going: Hiroshima & Miyajima Extension
Days 13 & 14 · April 10–11 · Optional extension · $295 additional hosting fee

Saturday • April 10
Hiroshima & Dinner Together
Keep going with our optional extension: travel to Hiroshima, explore the city, and enjoy our planned evening dinner. Each traveler pays for her own dinner and drinks.
Day 14
Sunday • April 11
Miyajima & Back to Nagoya
Explore Miyajima Island before returning to Nagoya together that evening. Keep your Nagoya room through checkout on April 12.

Reserve your Spring 2027 trip
Choose the $500 deposit or pay the complete $1,995 hosted-experience fee. The deposit is applied to the total.
Cancellation & refund policy — the short version
- The $500 deposit is non-refundable because it holds one of only eight guest spots.
- Cancel 90+ days before the trip: payments above the deposit are refundable.
- Cancel 60–89 days before the trip: 50% of payments above the deposit are refundable.
- Cancel fewer than 60 days before the trip: payments are non-refundable.
- The $295 Hiroshima & Miyajima extension follows the same 90/60-day refund schedule.
12 Days in Japan — $1,995
Hotels, meals, and other travel expenses are paid separately.
